Prior to S1, Mike worked as an applications specialist and a design engineer at Avaya. He holds numerous industry certifications and attended the U.S. Army JFK Special Warfare College, UCLA, Data-Tech Institute, and PTS Learning Systems. Mike was mobilized to Iraq with the US Army Reserve, where he won a Bronze Star in support of battlefield operations in Iraq and a Joint Commendation Award for his support of humanitarian assistance in Bosnia.
