The S8300 Media Server with a G700 or G350 Media Gateway provides a flexible solution for growing companies seeking to streamline voice and data operations over one networked infrastructure. It can be used as a standalone solution for a small business or as a remote edge device for a larger enterprise network ranging between 8 to 450 stations.

Product Details:

The S8300 Media Server resides inside a G700, G350 or G250 Media Gateway. It can be used as a standalone communication system or as a fully survivable remote gateway. The S8300 can be the primary controller for up to 50 remote G250, G350 and G700 Media Gateways.

As with the S8400, S8500 and S8700/10/20 Media Gateways, the S8300 has a Linux operating system and runs Communication Manager. It supports industry standard call control, quality of service, and management functions, and supports IP, digital, and analog endopoints.
