S8400 Media Server is a global platform offer within the Communication Manager Linux family of servers. The S8400 Media Server is attractive to customers who value the core competencies of Communication Manager such as reliability, performance and security. These enterprises will invest carefully to upgrade equipment and add applications to more efficiently manage their business or reduce their cost structure. It is an ideal platform for those businesses with a restricted budget, but place high value on dependable systems that protect their investment and can help them grow with their communication needs.

Product Details:

The S8400 offer has been designed to allow a customer to purchase a cost effective package. S8400 Media Server offer will be available in two configurations.

• A new customer package and a migration hardware package will be offered. In new system sales, the S8400 package will include the S8400, S8400 IP Interface (SIPI), ad a G650 Media Gateway ideal for the customer where space is a concern.
• The migration hardware package will include the S8400 Media Server and the S8400 SIPI (TN8412). This package is ideal for customers that currently are using the DEFINITY CSI server (also known as ProLogix), DEFINITY One, Avaya IP600 or S8100. The S8400 Media Server will provide a great migration path by enabling this customer set to reuse their existing gateway and virtually all their circuit packs and terminals.

S8400 Media Server will support messaging, call center and wireless solutions that are currently supported on our line of Linux servers.
