Winksystem is able to customize functions and the presentation of information and generate reports to suit the task parameters specific to individual projects. Winksystem links all participants in a project to efficiently administer the transfer of information and finances using technology developed exclusively by Winksystem.

Customer Situation:

Winksystem needed a business partner that could help design a robust and scaleable solution suitable for their unique and revolutionary application. In addition, Winksystem needed a business partner that could provide the latest industry leading hardware, software and services to ensure the successful launching of its revolutionary web-based project administration tool. The total hardware/software solution needed to be robust enough to handle the complex suite of technical software tools, designed to manage high volumes of information, resources and automated data processing (ADP), as well as information services and the systems necessary to support project development teams in accomplishing their mission. The solution also had to be scaleable to accommodate future Winksystem custom applications being developed for manufacturing, transportation, production and humanitarian projects.

Designed by S1, this comprehensive solution uses the latest technology offered by industry giants IBM, Cisco and Tivoli. S1’s networking and technology experience, combined with AT&T’s hosting services, created a comprehensive, robust and scaleable Internet solution for Winksystem.

Out of this alliance, an unprecedented level of integration was achieved with Winksystem’s headquarters and the co-located AT&T world-class hosting facility, which provided the performance, security and reliability required by Winksystem’s customers. S1 was able to provide the latest IBM hardware, software, networking services and access to AT&T’s co-location facility, as well as the technical support required – with dependability, reliability and world-class service.

Powerful IBM servers loaded with Winkslink sit on AT&T’s OC-48 / OC-192 backbone and are housed securely behind mantraps, closed circuit monitoring, secure-card key access, biometric scanners and alarm doors.
